Fairmont to host student robotics competition
PUBLIC INVITED TO CHEER MARTIN COUNTY YOUTH AS THEY TACKLE FUN STEM CHALLENGE
Elementary students from across Martin County, Minn., will be teaming up for an energetic robotics competition at Fairmont Elementary School the morning of Saturday, April 12th -- and spectators of all ages are welcome to witness this fun application of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics in our community.
This Martin County KnowHow! VEX IQ Robotics Competition will see dozens of 3rd & 4th graders from the Fairmont, Granada-Huntley-East Chain, Martin County West, and Truman school districts working together to face a friendly collaborative challenge. These students will have spent several weeks building and learning how to operate their VEX IQ robots, and are ready to put their hard work to the test at this exciting STEM event.
Limited concessions will be available to purchase at this event, such as donuts, juice, water, and pop.
